Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 Travel System Stroller Review
If you are a looking for a baby travel system that doesn’t compromise, then the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 Travel System stroller may be an ideal option for you. Offering solid construction and safety, this travel stroller offers more than just head turning looks. The Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 stroller offers a five point harness to make sure that your child stays securely buckled. Five point harnesses are preferred over three-point harnesses because they fasten over the shoulders, across the lap, and between the legs to make sure that your child is unable to be jostled free. The stroller also features easy-to-use rear parking brakes that will prevent your stroller from rolling away.
The Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 travel system also comes with the Maxi-Cosi Mico infant seat. This infant car seat offers superior side impact protection and can be used as long as your child is in between 5 and 22 pounds of weight and 19 and 29 inches in height. We love the bright red color of the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4. Plus it offers a sleek, modern-looking design that is sure to turn heads. Our Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 travel system even came with a matching diaper bag that is great for throwing all of our essentials into. This stroller folds up very compactly for travelers – you can even put it in the overhead bin on the plane. Compared to other travel system strollers, at just 18 pounds the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is amazingly light. We don’t love the canopy on the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4. It is small, and since the child sits upright it doesn’t offer a lot of coverage unless the sun is immediately overhead. The fact that the travel system stroller doesn’t recline at all does limit its usability some after your child has outgrown the infant carrier. On the other hand, the fact that this stroller can handle up to 80 pounds means that as long as you don’t want to recline, you will be able to use this stroller well into toddlerhood. For more information http://babystrollertrend.com/ One thing that we felt the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is missing is storage space. There is a storage basket underneath, but it will only hold a smaller-sized diaper bag. There are no cup holders or trays for parent or child, though you can purchase add-ons if you would like. While this Quinny travel system stroller folds up amazingly small, it is a bit complicated to do. This is especially true when you still need to use the infant seat. So plan on needing a few extra minutes to load or unload your child and get this stroller folded up. On the other hand, its small size makes it easy to store in a car trunk or take on public transportation. The Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is very easy to push and steer on even ground. It is not designed for off-road or very uneven surfaces. The handles are a little short for taller parents, and my husband does not like pushing this stroller. For the kids this stroller is reasonably comfortable. We do wish that the seat offered at least some recline, because our son cannot really take a nap in it comfortably. This travel system is not ideal for people who want to carry a lot in their stroller. There is not much storage space, and if you hang bags from the handles it tends to tip.The fold of the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is a bit complicated and requires you to remove the wheels. Some airlines may not allow you to bring it aboard. This is also a pricier travel system, so may not be practical for parents on a strict budget. The Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is an amazing travel system stroller for parents looking for something lightweight, easily portable, and easily stored. While it may not have as much storage space and features as other strollers, it will certainly be your traveling stroller for years to come. |
